Novice Obedience

Mondays at 7pm

  • Novice Obedience Class provides the foundation for handler/dog teams who are exploring the possibility of continuing into competitive American Kennel Club (AKC) Obedience and/or Rally. Lots of owners, however, with no plans to compete will also enjoy the strong bond and increased control when working with a very well-behaved pet.

    Students in this class learn:

    • Loose leash walking

    • Heeling

    • Sit & Sit/Stay

    • Stand & Stand/Stay

    • Down & Down/Stay

    • Recall

    • Impulse Control in the presence of distractions

  • Mondays at 7pm starting May 6

    6 week session

    1 hour class

  • $140/dog

  • No prior class is required

    For dogs 6 months and older

  • Classes are at our NEW Clubhouse and Training facility, located at 5416 W County Road A, Janesville, WI 53548

    Equipment will be discussed first day of class
