Scent Work

Mondays at 12:30pm (Foundations) and 1:30pm

  • Scent Work is a positive, challenging activity that allows dogs the opportunity to use their strongest natural sense in a way that's fun, engaging, and that builds and strengthens a foundation of trust between the handler and dog. We currently offer 2 levels of classes. The first is a 4-week introduction foundation class that starts on the 1st Monday of every month and the second class is for those who have completed an introduction class, where scent skills are practiced in containers, buried, interior, and exterior.

  • Mondays at 12:30pm (Foundations) and 1:30pm

    1 hour class

  • Non-members: $10/class


    Members: $5/class

  • Completion of a ‘pet manners’ class, like Family Dog, CGC, or with consent of the instructor


    Proof of vaccination required to participate in classes—all dogs must be up to date on Distemper, Parvo and Rabies vaccinations, and Bordetella required annually

    Junior handlers are welcome if accompanied by parent

  • Starting in September, classes are at our NEW Clubhouse and Training facility, located at 5416 W County Road A, Janesville, WI 53548

    Equipment will be discussed in class
