Beyond Family Dog

Beyond Family Dog is designed for dogs and handlers who have completed Family Dog and want to continue training without jumping directly into a formal obedience or Rally class. This six-week course builds on familiar skills such as loose-leash walking, stays, recalls, place, engagement, and impulse control while adding distance, duration, distractions, and new challenges.

Each week also introduces activities inspired by different dog sports, giving teams an opportunity to explore options such as Rally, agility, scentwork, tricks, and more. The emphasis is on building confidence, teamwork, and real-world reliability while keeping training fun and engaging.
