Session 6 | November-December

Agility Foundations

Sundays at 1:15pm

Sundays at 1:15pm starting Nov 2 with instructor Dawn Czerwan

1 hour class 6 weeks

In Agility Foundations, you’ll learn how to build strong communication with your dog—learning to move together from obstacle to obstacle without getting distracted by the obstacles themselves.

Training for agility is like building a house: without a solid foundation, everything else can fall apart. Most of agility isn’t about the obstacles—it’s about what happens between them. Clear, consistent, and timely communication is what helps your dog understand what you’re asking for, instead of guessing what you might want.

This class focuses on developing that communication through effective body language and teamwork skills.

You and your dog will be introduced to:

  • Tunnel (straight and curved)

  • Jumping in a straight line

  • Broad jump

  • Table

  • Wobble board

  • Cavaletti

  • Tire jump

  • Working on right and left sides

  • $140/dog

  • Reliable off-lead recall, basic obedience, no people or dog aggression, CGC preferred, dogs at least 1 year old. Please arrive at least 10 minutes early for setup and bring your own crate for your dog’s downtime.

  • Classes are at our Clubhouse and Training facility, located at 5416 W County Road A, Janesville, WI 53548

Equipment will be discussed first day of class
