Become a JBKC Member
Membership
General meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month at 7pm at our Clubhouse/Training Facility. We welcome new members to join us and apply to be part of Janesville-Beloit Kennel Club!
-
To become a JBKC member, please email jbkcmembership@gmail.com to request a membership application. Once your application and dues are submitted, you'll begin a six-month provisional membership period designed to help you get to know the club and become involved.
During this time, provisional members are asked to volunteer at three different JBKC events, choose two sponsors/mentors, and complete an orientation with their mentors. Provisional members do not receive class discounts, voting privileges, or unaccompanied building access, but are eligible to earn Kennel Cash.
Once the requirements are completed, your mentors will present you for a membership vote at a general club meeting. Upon approval, you'll become a full JBKC member.
-
Individual Membership is $40 and Household Membership is $60. Household Membership includes two adults living in the same household and Junior Membership for children ages 10–18.
New applications received June through November pay the full annual dues. Applications received December through May pay half of the annual dues.
-
Membership dues are renewed annually and are due by June 1 each year.
Annual dues are $40 for an Individual Membership and $60 for a Household Membership. Members whose dues have not been paid for the current fiscal year are not eligible to vote.
-
Full JBKC members receive 50% off most training classes and have opportunities to become more involved with the club through events, committees, training, and other activities.
Members also have voting privileges in club matters.
Please note that you do not need to be a JBKC member to take our training classes. Classes are open to the public.
